Affiliate & Fundraising Partner Terms
Last updated: 26 October 2026. These terms apply to anyone who joins the Report To Santa affiliate or fundraising partner programme, including creators, influencers, bloggers, schools, PTAs, nurseries, preschools, charities and community organisations.
1. The programme
Report To Santa operates a referral programme that allows approved partners to earn commission when a customer makes a qualifying purchase through that partner’s tracked referral link or other approved tracking method. The programme is administered using our affiliate platform, FirstPromoter.
2. Commission rate
The standard commission rate is 30% of the qualifying amount actually received by Report To Santa for an eligible purchase attributed to your referral account. Commission is calculated separately on each qualifying purchase tracked to your account. Later purchases are not guaranteed to earn commission unless attributed by the tracking system; we do not promise automatic commission on later upgrades.
3. Tracking and attribution
Referral tracking is handled electronically. A sale must be correctly attributed to your partner account by our tracking system to qualify automatically for commission. The campaign uses a 30-day referral cookie and first-click attribution. A referral cookie helps identify a visit; it is not a guarantee that every later purchase will be attributed. Tracking can be affected by factors outside our control, including deleted cookies, privacy settings, device changes, ad blockers or a customer using another partner’s referral link later.
Customers should click your referral link before each purchase to help ensure it is attributed to you. Later purchases are not guaranteed to earn commission unless tracked to your account.
If you believe a genuine referral has not tracked correctly, contact us at partner@reporttosanta.com with reasonable evidence and we will review it.
4. Eligible and ineligible sales
Commission is payable only on completed, genuine customer purchases that remain valid. Commission is not payable on your own test purchases unless we expressly agree, fraudulent or duplicate transactions, cancelled or fully refunded purchases, chargebacks, disputed payments, or transactions that breach these terms.
If commission has already been credited on a transaction that is later refunded, reversed or charged back, the related commission may be removed from your unpaid balance or deducted from a future payout.
5. Payouts
Payout runs take place on 1 November and 1 December 2026 through Stripe for eligible balances of £50 or more. Smaller balances carry forward. The final run on 2 January 2027 includes eligible balances below £50. Complete your Stripe payout setup to receive payment. All payments are subject to commission and payment checks. Held balances are paid once cleared. Refunds, chargebacks and fraudulent purchases do not qualify. Bank arrival times vary.
The current routine payout arrangements and payment status are shown in your partner dashboard. The final seasonal settlement is separate from routine payouts. Bank processing times and payment checks may affect when funds arrive.
You are responsible for keeping your Stripe payout details accurate and completing any required verification. We may pause a payout while new or changed details are checked.
6. Tax and your status
You participate as an independent partner and not as an employee, worker, agent or representative of Report To Santa. You are responsible for any tax, accounting, reporting or other obligations that apply to commission you receive. Schools, charities and other organisations are responsible for ensuring they are permitted to participate and receive fundraising income.
7. How you may promote Report To Santa
You may promote Report To Santa through your own website, social media, newsletters, parent communications, fundraising materials, blogs and other lawful channels that are appropriate for your audience.
You must make it clear when a post, link or recommendation is commercial, sponsored or affiliate content where advertising rules require this. You must not make false or misleading claims about Report To Santa, impersonate Report To Santa or Santa, suggest that you are employed by us, or promise a customer a result that we do not offer.
8. Prohibited promotion
You must not use spam, unsolicited bulk messaging, misleading advertising, fake reviews, fraudulent traffic, cookie stuffing, forced clicks, hidden redirects, trademark bidding intended to impersonate Report To Santa, unlawful content, or any method designed to manipulate referral tracking.
You must not target children directly with purchasing pressure. Report To Santa purchases are intended to be made by adults. Schools and organisations should direct fundraising messages to parents, carers and other adults rather than encouraging children to buy.
9. Brand materials
You may use promotional images, copy, QR codes and other partner materials that we provide for the purpose of promoting Report To Santa. Our name, logo, artwork and other brand assets remain our property and may not be altered in a misleading way, sold, licensed to others or used to create a competing service.
10. Programme abuse and withheld commission
We may investigate unusual activity and may temporarily withhold commission while doing so. We may reject or remove commission that results from fraud, self-referral abuse, manipulated tracking, prohibited promotion, refunded or disputed transactions, or a material breach of these terms.
11. Ending participation
You may stop promoting Report To Santa at any time. We may suspend or close a partner account where we reasonably believe these terms have been breached, the programme is being abused, or continued participation could harm customers or the Report To Santa brand.
Legitimate approved commission earned before closure remains payable subject to the payout arrangements in section 5, any applicable reversals and any ongoing fraud or payment review. These changes do not remove commission already validly earned under previously agreed terms.
12. Changes to the programme
We may change the commission rate, payout arrangements, eligible products, tracking technology or these terms where reasonably necessary. Changes will apply prospectively and we will aim to give reasonable notice of material changes to active partners. Commission already validly earned before a change will not be reduced simply because the standard rate later changes.
13. Data and privacy
We use partner details to operate the programme, attribute referrals, prevent abuse and make payouts. Payout setup is completed with Stripe through your FirstPromoter dashboard. We use the resulting payout status for administration. Please also read our Privacy Policy.
14. Liability
We do not guarantee any particular level of clicks, sales, fundraising income or commission. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from participation in the programme or failures caused by third-party platforms, internet services or banking systems outside our reasonable control.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, subject to any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
16. Contact
Questions about referrals, commission or payouts can be sent to partner@reporttosanta.com. Report To Santa is operated as a UK sole-trader business.
